Bizibilder went Galaxy hunting last night………Hundreds of ‘em!!

Picture saved with settings embedded.1 April 2013 Abell 1637

This area of sky (called Abell 1367), in the constellation Leo, contains hundreds of galaxies.  This three hour exposure certainly shows well over one hundred, in an area equivalent to about three full Moons (1.5° x 0.5° roughly).  The inverted image (white background) is easier to see and every little smudge is a unique galaxy. Some show their shape and structure, others are just distant “fuzzies”.
